Private fitness sessions can be designed for at Outdoors or Home workout. No equipment is necessary, and we’ll set you up so you can also learn to work out on your own!

If you’re building a gym area at home, we are available as your consultants to help you figure out what you need and help you find the appropriate Pilates or strength training equipment.

Heart Health Explorer is an easy and fun way to explore different parks in the Los Angeles Area AND do your cardio workout. Not only do you get take care of your heart health with a hike, we’ll teach you how to incorporate 15 minutes of strength training and stretching. You’ll learn strength training exercises and yoga-inspired stretching that you can do at home so you can live a healthier lifestyle EVERY DAY!

We meet 1x a month on a selected Sunday at 11am. Please sign up for our newsletter so we can update you about our schedule. We’ll be finding good easy hikes near our weight loss class based in Encino, as well as take advantage of the beautiful Santa Monica Mountains, Topanga Canyon, and Franklin Canyon near Beverly Hills. Those who are more athletic will be given additional challenges.

First Hike for 2010: Sunday, January 24 11am
Plan for approximately a 1-hour workout. Please wear fitness clothes, athletic shoes, bring water, and post-workout snack. Please remember to eat breakfast before the hike. Wear layers as you may get cold or hot depending on the hike. Please RSVP for Heart Health Explorers via our Meetup Group or join the Embody Health mailing list so we can contact you in case of any changes.
